Our client seeks an experienced project manager to be responsible for the effective, risk free and professional management of identified projects, and to assist as required in the compiling of new proposals. Throughout projects you will liaise with sales, supply chain management, mechanical, electrical and process engineers, subcontractors and the client to ensure projects are completed in line with the financial and scheduling needs of the customer. You will focus on price, delivery and quality. Our client has a global customer base so to ensure effective management of the project you could expect to be based overseas for short periods of time (fully expensed by the company).
You will have previous project management experience, have an understanding of or experience in engineering, have strong management and particularly financial management skills, understand conditions of contract and the issues anticipated during the project and ideally you will have on site experience to enable you to be credible with the customer.
In addition to a salary of up to Ј35,000 according to experience our client offers 25 days holiday plus statutory days, company pension scheme including death in service benefit after 3 months (company contribution of 6% of salary); to find the right person for this role our client will also cover relocation expenses if required.
